The following is just some feedback about our farm, whether it be about boarding, selling horses, or clinics.  Enjoy!!

If you would like to send your feedback to us (good or bad) please do so at bitbybitstables@mail.com

Raising my children for the last 20 years didn’t leave me a lot of time for riding and I had lost my confidence as a rider.  I was looking for something to get me “back in the saddle” again.  I found her, a little mare named Ruby, at Bit by Bit Stables.  Jen took her time with me.  She allowed me to ride Ruby several times, was patient with my endless questions and encouraged me to take my time before I made a final decision.  She was honest about Ruby’s abilities, skills and temperament – she even pointed out some flaws that I didn’t see!  I would highly recommend Bit by Bit Stables to anyone that is looking for a new horse.  They always have a few quality horses for sale and they will help you find the one that is really right for you.

Bit by Bit Stables is a beautiful, well maintained, professional farm.  Jennifer is very knowledgeable and helpful.  I bought a horse from her and the horse is exactly the same as she described.  She let us know downfalls and sold us a horse that is exactly what we wanted.  I was looking for a beginners horse for my husband for over a year. She did not waste our time going to look at a horse that was not suitable for our needs. She is honest and is valuable asset to anyone looking to buy a horse.  Even after the sale, I called her with questions and she was very helpful. I wish I would have found her sooner.  Jennifer sold us a horse that I feel my husband will be safe learning on and we cant wait to get into the trails. Thanks for everything Jennifer

Gerry and I want to let you know how pleased we are with our purchase of Beau. We've already taken him on a five mile trail ride in Fair Hill and he never batted an eye at the bridge crossings, the creek crossings, and even led the way through the very scary tunnel. He's taken all these new experiences in stride and is always calm, cool, and collected. What a terrific horse! He and our older horse Dallas are happily sharing a pasture and their first meeting, which took place right after you dropped him off, was nothing short of amazing - no snorting or any of the usual horsey getting to know you stuff, instead they just sniffed muzzels and then began to groom each other, and after a few mintues of that they just stood side by side grazing.

We know horse buying can sometimes be a crapshoot, but with Beau is wasn't any gamble at all, we just adore him and want to thank you for making him available to us!

Best wishes,

Mary Jane and Gerry

We started boarding our thoroughbred "Boucheron" at Bit by Bit stables in August of 2007.  It was the best decision we ever made for him.  Everyone at the barn is so willing to help out with any problems or questions we may have.  Jen and Brent are the best, I never worry if my horse will have food or water like we did at our last farm.  On the contrary, I've had to buy a larger girth to accommodate he ever growing waist line!! (in a good way!).   Bou and I ride english and western,  we work cows and compete in hunter classes, we have fun running barrels and bending a few poles,  we set jumps up and have a ball, it doesn't matter what your experience level is or your saddle type everyone is made to feel welcome at Bit by Bit.  Jen and Brent even go out of there way to help out in anyway,  Bou has a little trailer loading issue well it turned into a big issue when he refused to get back on at the end of a show.  After 4 hours of trying everything to get him to load, we called Jen, without hesitation they (Jen and Brent) were on there way to rescue us!!  Without hesitation they drove an hour up to where we were, spent a half hour loading Bou, and drove an hour home with precious cargo in tow!  I'm sorry to all the other barn owners out there but Bit by Bit has you beat.  Hands and hooves down!!

Thank you for all your hard work and all you do,

Shelly, Chris and Boucheron

After months of searching for a Boarding Barn with amenities, atmosphere and level of care that every horse owner desires, we found just that in Bit by Bit Stables.  Good barn management is a dying practice, but Jen and Brent strive to be above the bar with each an every endeavor from the care of the horses to constant maintenance and improvement of the farm.  Activity level and involvement from boarders and Barn Owners is high.  There is always something to do with the many events and clinics that are held on the farm, and active boarders who ride often.  There is a rich mix of disciplines that all enjoy learning and experiencing.  Everyone is willing to help and support each other creating the atmosphere of a stress-free no nonsense barn that I call “My Barn”.

I would recommend Bit by Bit Stables to anyone looking for a horse, Jennifer helped me to find the perfect horse for my little girl.  We looked for months and came across alot of people that were not honest.  Jennifer was honest with us from the beginning and even followed up with us to see how the horse and my daughter were making out.  I can not thank her enough for putting together a good match.

I am so happy with the two horses I bought at your farm I thought I should tell you to contact me if you know of a beginner safe small  pony for sale.   When I have some time I plan on taking photos and putting them on my website.   I don't know how often you have horses for sale,  but I will refer any of my contacts that are looking for horses to your stable.

Bit by Bit Stables are wonderful!! They're very professional, not to mention beautiful. The horse I purchased is more than I had hoped for. An absolutely perfect horse! Jennifer was very knowledgeable and honest and answered any questions we had without hesitation.  I would definitely recommend Bit by Bit Stables to anyone and everyone!

Thank you!!

We just bought our second horse, Wilson, from Bit by Bit. Of course we are thrilled with him! He is a fabulous horse.  We bought him for my 14 year old daughter, who is a beginner and he is perfect for her. He is a complete gentleman and already devoted to her! Wilson and the other horse we bought from Bit by Bit, Scooter, are both going to be a part of 4H with my kids.  Turns out that Scooter is a great jumper! Wilson will be perfect for gaming! I can tell you that it was amazing that we got two perfect horses from Jennifer!  I always make sure to tell everyone where we got them and that they too, should go to Jennifer if they want a great horse!!!

Thanks again for another perfect horse!!!

I had been searching for awhile for a pony for my 9 year old son, not just any pony this pony had to be completely bombproof if there is such a thing, the pony had to neck rein and be as sweet, calm and patient as could be. I bought Sweetie from Jennifer in September and she is absolutely wonderful. Jennifer told me that she was a cribber and that she had been out of regular work for awhile so I feel like she was completely honest with me. I would definitely buy another horse from her.  I have 4 horses now and in my search for these horses I have been to many farms most of which were not very nice and neither were the horses, her farm was really nice and all the horses looked very well cared for she was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Jennifer, I just wanted to thank you for talking me into taking the clinic with Larry.  I was a little nervous at first. You guys just made me and my horse comfortable I learned a ton and I had so much fun doing it. Thanks again can't wait till the next clinic.

I got to know the people at Bit by Bit before I moved my horse there. It's a friendly atmosphere. Helpful boarders. Jen and Brent both genuinely care about the welfare of your horses and there boarders.   Jen and Brent go out of there way to make the boarders happy and comfortable, without going to extremes. I would call this farm a no nonsense kind of farm, but there are so many little things that Bit by Bit offers that make this farm a truly special gem. I felt from the very beginning that it's a safe place to keep my horses. I trust them with my horses, and I'm sure if you move your horses there you will feel the same way.

Sincerely,

Sandy, Cutsie, Captain, and Calyspo

Jen, Sorry it took so long for me to write to you guys. I purchased Indy in the spring from Jen. Indy is probably one of the top three horses I was lucky enough to have in my life. He has the best personality, work ethic of any horse. He is trust worthy on the trails and fun at games. I LOVE him!!!! He will be with me forever. Even his color has grown on me. Although he is quite dirty all the time.
Thanks Again for Indy,    Jo-Ann
